What is Co-Creation?
Co-Creation is a form of market or business strategy to involve a third party to (a part of) the innovation process of a product or service. This third party can be your clients, experts, consumers, end-users, or any other stakeholder that is of importance to you.
The aim is to create value together, by improving products or services or by generating new ideas and insights. Co-creation can be characterized for its open nature and has a strong link with the open innovation philosophy.
More and more companies see the value of Co-Creation: Starbucks, Libelle & Senseo and Lays are only a few of the many examples of Co-Creation initiatives currently in the market.
